HIV Aids Awareness Corporate Campaign

Client background:

The Client was voted Best Employer 2010/2011. The organisation is people centred and Human Capital Development is a priority. World HIV/Aids Day was the perfect opportunity to remind staff the organisation cares and promote the Conditions of Service.

The 2010 CSIR HIV/Aids Awareness Campaign conveyed the following key messages:

  • The organisations cares for employees;
  • Promote policy that protect staff from discrimination and support those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS;
  • Encourage employees to get tested and know their status;
  • And ’introduce the organisations HIV/Aids Committee, convened in 2009, to develop policy and structures that would support and educate staff.

Campaign details:

The Campaign was launched under the international theme: ‘We are responsible’, which was   incorporated into the written and visual elements of the communiqué created. Both Visual and written content was adapted for the following platforms: Intraweb articles and advert banners; Advert in Internal Publication; and campaign awareness posters for the staff toilets.
